Upcoming Intakes
Ucademy is designed for flexible, regular intakes so you can start when you’re ready. Specific intake and start dates will be published when enrolment opens.
Request Information to be notified the moment our first intake dates are confirmed.
How Ucademy Intakes Work
Most post-secondary institutions tie enrolment to a fixed academic calendar — you either start in September or you wait a year. Ucademy is built differently.
Once enrolment opens, we plan to open new cohorts at regular, frequent intervals — likely monthly. That means if you miss one start date, you won’t be left waiting months for your next opportunity. You apply when you’re ready, and we work to place you in the next available cohort.
Cohort sizes will be intentionally kept small to maintain the quality of instruction and support that defines Ucademy’s approach. Early applicants will have the best selection of cohort options.
What Happens When Dates Are Announced
Here is what to expect from the moment intake dates go live to the moment you begin your program:
- Early notification — Everyone on our interest list receives advance notice before dates are announced to the general public. Being on the list is the single best way to secure your preferred cohort.
- Application window opens — A formal application window opens, typically three to four weeks before the cohort start date. You’ll complete a short application, submit required documents, and select your cohort.
- Offer letter — Complete applications are reviewed promptly. Offer letters are sent within five business days of receiving a complete application package.
- Enrolment confirmed — Once you accept your offer, your enrolment is confirmed. Platform access and onboarding materials are granted three to five days before your cohort’s start date so you can settle in before classes begin.
Prepare While You Wait
Here are practical steps you can take right now:
- Download and review the Program Guide — understand exactly what each program covers, what is expected of you, and what outcomes you are working toward.
- Research your funding options — Alberta Student Aid, employer education reimbursement, and personal savings are all worth exploring before your application window opens. The more prepared you are financially, the faster you can confirm your spot.
- Check English language requirements — if English is not your first language, verify whether your existing credentials satisfy our language entry requirements. If not, start working toward them now.
- Build your budget — once intake dates are announced, application-to-start timelines will be tight. Having your finances in order in advance means you won’t need to scramble.
- Join the interest list — submit a Request Information form below. This is the only way to guarantee you receive first access to intake announcements before they are made public.
