Before you fill in any forms, we suggest the three steps above. Then:
Express your interest
Complete the Request Information form (about two minutes). You get an automated confirmation, then a personal response within one business day. No commitment, nothing paid.
Advisor consultation
A 30–45 minute call by phone or video. Your advisor’s job is to help you decide what is right for you — not to talk you into anything.
Choose your program
Take whatever time you need. Your advisor remains available by email and will not pressure you toward a deadline.
Submit your application
You’ll be invited to submit a complete application with your documents. The review typically takes five to seven business days.
Sign and begin
Read your enrolment agreement carefully and ask about any clause before signing. Then you receive platform login and orientation.
Documents you will need
When enrolment opens, you’ll provide these as part of your formal application. Gathering them in advance can speed up the review.
- Proof of high school completion or equivalent — a transcript, diploma or certificate, or documentation supporting Mature Student eligibility (18+ without a diploma)
- Government-issued photo ID — Canadian passport, provincial driver’s licence, provincial ID card or Permanent Resident card
- Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable) — if English is not your first language and your education was not in English
- Program-specific prerequisites (if any) — your advisor will confirm which apply
Nothing is binding until you sign
Everything up to and including your advisor consultation is non-binding. Attend a session, speak with an advisor several times and ask every question you have. The commitment — financial and formal — begins only when you sign your enrolment agreement and make your first payment, after enrolment opens. Everyone on our interest list is notified first.
Before You Apply
The best applications come from people who have taken time to understand what they are getting into. Before you fill in any forms, we encourage you to do three things — not because they are required, but because they will make the entire process easier and more rewarding.
Ucademy's application process is built around genuine support. Every step has a real person behind it who wants to see you succeed.
Complete the Request Information form. The form takes about two minutes. You will provide your name, email, phone, the program you are interested in, and an optional message. Once you submit, you will receive an automated confirmation right away, followed by a personal response from our admissions team within one business day. At this stage, you have made no commitment of any kind and paid nothing.
Your admissions advisor will schedule a 30-to-45 minute consultation by phone or video. This is the most important step in the process. Your advisor's job is to understand your situation and help you make a decision that is right for you — not to talk you into anything. You will discuss your educational background, career goals, work schedule, and any concerns about studying online. Come prepared with a list of anything on your mind — no question is too basic.
After your consultation, take whatever time you need to make your decision. Some students know exactly which program they want within days of their first call. Others come back to their advisor with follow-up questions two or three weeks later — that is completely normal. Your advisor remains available to answer questions by email and will not pressure you toward a deadline.
When your application is approved, you will receive a formal offer of admission along with your enrolment agreement. Read it carefully. If you have questions about any clause, ask your advisor before signing. Once you have signed and arranged your first payment, your enrolment is confirmed. From there, you will receive your welcome package with platform login credentials, an orientation guide, and details about your first module.
When enrolment opens, you will need to provide the following documents as part of your formal application. Gathering these in advance can help speed up the review process.
No-Commitment Stage
Everything up to and including your advisor consultation is entirely non-binding. You can attend an information session, speak with an advisor multiple times, and ask every question you have without incurring any obligation or expense. The commitment — financial and formal — begins only when you sign your enrolment agreement and make your first tuition payment. Until that moment, you are free to decide this is not the right time or program, with no penalty and no pressure.
