Ucademy Applies for Licensure in Alberta

Ucademy has formally applied for licensure as a private vocational training (PVT) institution in Alberta. It is an important milestone for our online career college, and we want to be transparent with prospective students about what it means.

What licensure means

In Alberta, private career colleges are regulated by the provincial government. Licensure sets standards for program quality, student protection and institutional accountability. Applying is a deliberate, multi-step process — and we believe doing it properly is part of being a credible Canadian institution.
